Terms of service

Last updated October 8, 2026

Draft, pending legal review. This page describes how we intend to operate. It is not yet a binding document and will change before our first customer contract.

These terms apply when you or your company use the Skillacrity service provided by Skillacrity (“we”). A signed agreement between us and your company, if there is one, takes priority over these terms.

1. Accounts

  • Sign up with your work email address. It is what connects you to your company’s shared skills.
  • Each company is tied to its verified email domain. The first person to join becomes the company’s admin, and coworkers on the same domain join the same company account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.

2. Your content

  • Your company owns the skills and other content its people put into Skillacrity.
  • You give us permission to store that content and deliver it to the people your company has allowed to see it, in the AI tools they connect.
  • We never share your company’s skills with another customer, and never use them to train AI models or to build anyone else’s library.
  • Skills belong to the company, not the individual author. They stay in the company’s registry if the author leaves.
  • Your company’s admins can export the full registry in an open format at any time.

3. Usage data

We record which skills are delivered and whether they were used, never what people typed. Your company’s usage data may be used to tune recommendations for your company. Usage data from all customers may be used to improve the product. Customer skill content is not used for either purpose beyond serving your own company.

4. The curated library

We provide a library of open-source skills under their original licenses, with attribution. You may copy a curated skill into your own registry and adapt it, subject to its license.

5. Safety scanning

We scan skills before they are shared, and may hold back or remove a skill that fails a scan. Scanning reduces risk but cannot guarantee that a skill is safe or correct. Skillacrity delivers skill content and does not run it; anything a skill causes your AI tool to do happens under your own permissions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our acceptable use policy.

7. Trials, plans and payment

  • Each person gets a free trial of three months from the day they join, while their company has never paid. A company that has not paid is limited to 30 people.
  • The paid plan is priced per seat per month, as shown on our pricing page or in your order. We bill for the seats your company has bought and assigned.
  • Only a company admin can upgrade the company and buy seats.
  • When a trial ends, that person stops receiving recommendations until their company assigns them a seat.

8. Third-party AI tools

Skillacrity works inside AI tools provided by other companies. Your use of those tools is governed by your agreements with their providers. We are not responsible for what those tools do.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service available. If Skillacrity is slow or unavailable, it returns no skill and your AI tool answers as it normally would.

10. Ending the service

Your company can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. After cancellation, your company’s data is deleted on a defined schedule; export what you need first.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated here, and our total liability is limited to the amount your company paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and tell admins about significant changes.
