About
Turn what your people know into skills everyone can use
Our mission is to turn an organization’s collective wisdom into AI skills that every employee can find, trust, and use, in whichever AI tool they work in.
The problem we saw
Business teams are writing AI skills: the prompts, workflows and playbooks that make tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot useful for real work. Those skills sit in personal accounts, local folders, and one vendor’s walled garden.
- The best version of a skill never spreads beyond the person who wrote it.
- The same skill gets rebuilt many times across teams.
- No one can tell which skill is current, approved, or safe to use.
- Skills kept inside one AI vendor don’t follow the company if it moves to another.
Who we build for
Skillacrity is for business staff in sales, operations, finance, HR, support and similar roles, the experts among them who write skills, and the IT leaders who answer for how AI is used. Engineering teams are welcome, but they already have good ways to share.
Skillacrity was founded by Daniel Byler.
What we hold to
Customer skills never cross companies
A company’s skills are its intellectual property. They never leave its library and never train or feed anyone else’s.
Ownership over convenience
Skills stay in one central place that no AI vendor controls. We work closely with each vendor’s tools, but the vendor is never the system of record.
Collective wisdom first
The value is know-how from people who do the job. Every skill credits its author.
Zero effort for business users
The right skill reaches people inside the AI tool they already use, with no searching, code or command line.
The right skill, or none
A wrong skill costs more trust than a missing one, so Skillacrity stays quiet when it is unsure.
Governance by default, not a gate
Admins control who each skill reaches, and the normal path to sharing stays fast.
